The Manager, Solution Consulting grows, develops, and leads a team of pre-sales industry and solution experts in the solutions space. Focuses on customer pain points and delivering differentiated, industry-specific outcomes. Builds and nurtures an “A team” of solution consultants to support business growth. Responsible for day-to-day presales operations. Challenges the status quo to drive innovation and growth. Partners cross-functionally to elevate the positioning of Infor solutions. The Solution Consulting Manager Is a role model for living the Infor Values. Provides guidance to staff on business goals and companies policies. Sets objectives, measures the performance of team members, and continually provides feedback to help team members grow and contribute. Has budgetary and P&L responsibility.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Helps to develop and implement organizational direction and strategic initiatives. Participates with other senior managers to establish strategic plans and objectives. Makes final decisions on administrative or operational matters and ensures operations effective achievement of objectives.
- Responsibility for understanding our customer’s strategic direction and offering a point-of-view around how Infor can uniquely solve customer challenges.
- Challenges the status quo to elevate pre-sales (Pre-sales 4.0) … skill sets, organization, roles and responsibilities.
- Present prospects and client use cases, highlighting the business benefits and technical advantages of the Infor solution.
- Build and utilize knowledge and expertise of the company’s product and service portfolio to ensure that the customer's needs are addressed.
- Provide direction to Solution Consulting management team to ensure effective utilization of appropriate company resources to progress all issues impacting revenue, new business, and customer satisfaction.
- Assist VP in developing and implementing go-to-market strategies for customers including net new prospects, with unique value propositions by customer segment.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience solution selling in a SaaS environment.
- Public speaking, presentation, and written communication are directed at a technical and business audience at all levels of an organization.
- Experience using data to develop and present solutions for customers.
- Experience building relationships with customer/prospects including senior management.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience leading teams of Solution Consultants / presales.
- ERP experience.
