Description & Requirements

As a member of a hybrid Development and Support software team, day-to-day duties will include:

  • Specific responsibility for maintenance and enhancement of the client server application using PowerBuilder and SQL Server.
  • Analyze, prepare functional scope, High Level Design, and Detailed Design.
  • Provide support for a complex system.

Experience: 3-5 Years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes and evaluates existing or proposed systems.
  • Prepares program specifications and diagrams and develops coding logic.
  • Develops, tests, and debugs software changes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and develop technical solution related to software and set up  errors for customers.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex SQL scripting issues.
  • Provide excellent customer support for the applications.
  • Managing multiple incidents & problems while working in high visibility situations
  • Working independently and with minimal supervision to complete tasks and assignments as directed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience with PowerBuilder development
  • 3+ years of experience with MS SQL Server development
  • Experience in developing client-server application and must have strong technical skills in PowerBuilder.
  • Experience in writing SQL scripts to manipulate data.
  • Database stored procedures and triggers.
  • Experience with supporting systems in production support and maintenance
  • Ability to analyze requirements and formulate design.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Experience in customer facing roles for any enterprise software.
  • Functional Domain knowledge in Ledger, Receivables or Payables.
  • Basic knowledge about C/C++.
  • Customer management skills with high commitment to customer satisfaction.
