Description & Requirements
Support the daily operations of PMO including but not limited to facilitation of weekly portfolio status reporting cadence processes, identification, escalation, and follow-through of critical and high priority project issues and risks, and support Project Manager with the design and implementation of PMO process improvement related projects.
Key Responsibilities
· Update weekly PMO project dashboard and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
· Consolidate and distribute weekly executive status pack with executive summary/highlights
· Identify critical portfolio issues and risks for management review and action
· Review all project status reports and identify PM discipline opportunities for review with Project Managers
· Identify consistent themes for PM discipline continuous improvement opportunities
· Support the implementation of required improvements to weekly portfolio status reporting cadence processes
· Assist with monthly, quarterly, and yearly processes for project budget forecasting and planning
· Generate and maintain portfolio timelines and Gantt charts including project interdependencies
· Support implementation of standard project stakeholder communications
· Support the generation and implementation of project management methods and standards
· Support project teams with project initiation and planning activities
· Monitor progress of projects across the portfolio
· Identify portfolio level issues and risks
· Support project teams in documenting and implementing lessons learned
· Support the generation and tracking of PMO performance metrics
· Ensure company standards and policies are followed
Key Requirements/Experience
· 4-year college degree or related experience
· 2+ years of experience as a project coordinator and/or Project Manager for small and medium sized projects
· Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail
· Strong interpersonal skills; must be able to interact with personnel in multiple business roles
· Excellent English and German verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent organizational skills
· Ability to work independently in a global setting including multiple cultures, time zones and potential language barriers
· Formal Project Management Training or equivalent work experience
· Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, SharePoint, and Visio
· Industry Certification (PMP, Prince2) in Project Management a plus
