Description & Requirements

Performs and/or supports testing tasks to ensure that developed products meet design specifications. Communicates with developers, business analysts, technical support specialists and product owners on product issues and requirements. Operates under close supervision.


A Day in The Life Typically Includes:



  • Develops an understanding of the LMO applications and processes, and incorporates this into the test requirements, design, and cases. 
  • Creates, reviews, and executes manual test cases based on requirements for application features. 
  • Assists in building of test systems, automation of tests, and performs other types of tests as needed, under the direction of more senior analysts. 
  • Communicates with developers, business analysts, technical support specialists and product owners to clarify and refine issues and functional requirements.
  • Analyzes test output to ensure quality of new features, and no regression of functionality during a release cycle.
  • Logs, documents, and triages bugs and issues observed, including steps and processes involved, during test execution and investigation.
  • Learns and uses automated testing tools and test frameworks for automated testing. 
  • Participates in code reviews for automated tests and other relevant tasks. 
  • Creates documentation, reports, and presentations for applications, features, processes, and issues, which may require research and analysis.
  • Exercises judgment within generally defined procedures, practices, and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
  • Participates in discussions on testing, automation, functional requirements, processes, and development related to project and technical activities.



What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:



  •  Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, or related discipline (may need additional training in skills to fulfill the basic responsibilities of the position). 
  • This is an entry-level position typically requiring less than 18 months experience in development, research, product testing or support. 
  • General understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation, and quality assurance. 
  • General skills in research, reporting and presentation. 
  • Strong sense of teamwork, cooperation, and coordination. 
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills, including a good command of written and spoken English.

Preferred Qualifications:



  • Ability to understand business processes, application features, analyze new requirements and define complete tests for the same. 
  • Good testing and defect-finding skills and understanding of QA methodologies 
  • Strong logical, analytical, and technical skills. • Basic knowledge on Java or any related programming language 
  • Basic knowledge on Selenium and TestNG 
  • Basic knowledge or experience on Agile Scrum Methodology 
  • Basic knowledge about cloud and AWS
