Job Description: Senior QA Automation Engineer

Role Alignment with Business Plan: The Senior QA Automation Engineer is critical to ensuring the efficiency and scalability of QA processes within the Infor Data Services team. By developing advanced automation frameworks, this role supports our objective to deliver reliable, high-performance software solutions.

Position Summary: As the Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will design and implement comprehensive test automation strategies. You will work closely with development teams to integrate automation into the CI/CD pipeline and lead efforts to enhance test automation capabilities across projects.

Essential Duties:

  • Design and implement automation frameworks using Java and Selenium.
  • Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate automation into CI/CD processes.
  • Lead automation efforts for web applications and RESTful services, ensuring high test coverage and reliability.
  • Conduct performance testing and optimize test automation scripts for scalability.
  • Mentor and guide team members in automation best practices and strategies.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for automation processes and frameworks.
  • Lead and manage the full QA Automation & Performance process from requirement analysis to final product delivery.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7-9 years of experience in test automation, with strong proficiency in Java and Selenium.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab.
  • Strong knowledge of REST API testing, using Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and mentor a team.
  • Experience in performance testing and using tools like JMeter.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira.
  • Experience with cloud environments and DevOps practices.
