Description & Requirements

The Automation Engineer is expected to be in a hybrid setup at least for 6 months to establish domain and process knowledge wherein 50% of the allocation is expected for Automation Engineer activities and 50% allocation for manual testing activities. After 6 months, the engineer will focus primarily on Automation tasks and minimal manual testing related activities depending on the need.

What You Will Need?

  • Minimum of 2 years overall Automation experience using any OOP based automation tool
  • Agile methodology experience

What Will Put You Ahead?

  • Experience with some of the following tools:
    - GIT (Version control tool)
    - Gitlab (Repository)
    - Eclipse (ISE)
    - Jenkins (Build and Deploy)
    - Postman (API)
    - Any test case management tool
    - Any test/script execution management tool
    - JIRA (Bug tracking tool)

  • Knowledgeable in SDLC

 A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Design and develop test scripts
  • Maintenance/Update of outdated test cases or failing automation scripts
  • Perform bug fix verification
  • Execution of automation scripts and test case
  • Sending of execution status report
  • Participate with the automation RCA of customer issues
  • Participate during automation code reviews
