Description & Requirements
The Senior Technical Consultant - Asset Management plays a key role in the implementation of Infor Public Sector Solutions software for our customers. Infor Public Sector (IPS) Suite is configurable and tailored to meet the complex industry demands of government and utilities—all with the benefit of cloud deployment. This solution includes Customer Service, Inventory, Asset and Work Management. The consultant works with SME’s, client stakeholders and global project teams to design and build a complete solution within the defined scope of the project.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
· Work with Public Sector clients to understand business processes, challenges, and make process improvement recommendations to enhance efficiency.
· Work to resolve complex business challenges requiring analysis of situations, processes and/or data requiring an in-depth evaluation.
· Make recommendations and guide the solution configuration working with global project teams based on design, using iterations of prototypes and testing to validate.
· Document requirements for business processes, interfaces, data conversions and reports.
· Design and develop interfaces, data conversions and reports.
· Implement configurations changes in the IPS application to meet business requirements.
· Perform unit testing on work completed and support clients during System Test, UAT and Production deployment.
· Provide training to end-users on the applications and the tools to configuration the IPS application.
· Potential travel of 50%
Required Skills:
· Programming expertise and can make high-level design choices and technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms.
· Experience in a customer facing role.
· Hands-on experience in using Web platform technologies such as:
o Visual Studio.NET
o ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS
o JavaScript
· Experience in Backend: IIS, MS SQL/Oracle, REST API creation & consumption
· Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator certification, AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) or similar
· Technical knowledge in software development methodologies, implementation, and quality control
Location: US Remote (St. Paul, MN, Dallas, TX, Alpharetta, GA)
