Senior, Training and Enablement Specialist

US/Remote

The Training and Enablement Specialist is critical to Infor IT’s data strategy of building a data-driven culture across all of Infor. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive enablement and training strategy to promote IT’s analytical solutions including dashboards and certified data for citizen development or self-service. The role will be reporting under the Data Frameworks Team from the IT-Data Management and Analytics (IT-DMA) group. IT-DMA’s vision is for Data Democratization, empowering every Inforian to make data-driven decisions.


Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement DMA’s training and enablement strategy including building learning assets, learning journeys, and BU-specific enablement programs from inception to delivery
  • Establish, manage, and track customer adoption and engagement metrics for all of DMA’s analytical solutions
  • Proactively coordinate the resolution of enablement and knowledge gaps by working closely with business data owners and various IT teams
  •  Routinely provide reports and surface findings to key stakeholders and drive continuous improvement in usage and adoption
  • Partner with Enablement and Education Programs teams to align on global enablement initiatives

Education & Experience:
  • Minimum 2 years work experience in enablement or education roles
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Required Skills:
  • Prior experience in training and enablement, sales, or delivery/implementation/consulting roles
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in a multicultural environment with the ability to interface with Executives, Business Users and IT Leaders and Developers
  • Ability to influence and build relationships virtually across multiple functional areas (Sales, Marketing, Services, Product and Technology, HR, etc.)
  • Data-driven, problem solver and strategic thinker
  • Self-motivated and able to handle tasks with minimal supervision
  • Resilient and adaptable to change

Preferred Skills & Knowledge:
  • Experience in a data analyst or business intelligence role or passionate in data, analytics and dashboards
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Domo, Tableau, Birst, Power BI, etc.
  • Experience in working at a Software/SaaS company with working knowledge of marketing, sales, professional services, and customer success business processes
