Service Delivery Manager 

Location: Hyderabad 


JOB SUMMARY:    We are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic performer who is thrives in challenging conditions to join our growing Workforce Management development organization in the role of a Technical Service Delivery Manager.  The ideal candidate will want to work in a fast-paced agile environment, with focus on technology and cloud service delivery, leading one or more internal and client facing projects.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead one or more projects streams/initiatives with focus on cloud service delivery, issue resolution, roadmap delivery.
  • Establish direct rapport with customers on delivery expectations, handle escalations, manage external and executive communication in NA time zone to full customer satisfaction
  • Lead prioritization of deliverables, issues, actions with the with development, QA support, cloud, and other organizations making up the eco-system.
  • Be able to set scope, schedule milestones, deliver on expected results
  • Communicate goals, status, progress updates to senior management, customers execs, and other stakeholders.  Interface with multiple teams / stakeholders, to remove obstacles and to support risk mitigation
  • Influence project outcomes, manage project risks / issues, provide escalation management as required
  • Participate in sprint and release planning, backlog refinement and retrospectives as needed
  • Conduct project post-mortems and generate actionable feedback for long-term operational improvements
  • Build and maintain strong working relationship with stakeholders at department, Director/VP level
  • Develop and build best practices and tools for project execution and management in an Agile organization

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • An undergraduate and/or Master’s degree in a Computer Science or a related IT field
  • 5-7+ years in a cloud support role or technical delivery role
  • Solid understanding of traditional SDLC, Kanban, Agile SCRUM processes
  • Previous software development experience or related technical experience a plus
  • Previous experience as a ScrumMaster a plus
  • Experience with cloud deployment and SaaS delivery model a plus
  • Experience in Retail and/or Healthcare industry is a plus

·       Ability to drive multiple priorities concurrently and independently, ability to quickly gage the problem statement and work toward a solution in a cross functional manner.

·       Clarity and structure in verbal / written communication, active listening, empathy.  Ability to clearly define, understand and effectively articulate technical deliverables and risks

·       Ability to grasp complex tiered system architectures, interfaces, cloud concept, security

·       Effective in prioritization, good grasp of engineer complexity, bottlenecks, concerns, steps, etc. for effective delivery communication and risk mitigation.
