Description & Requirements

As a Software Engineer for the LX Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and related technologies, you are responsible for delivering high-quality software. You will work within a multidisciplinary development team in close collaboration with other skilled software engineers, QA engineers, architects, and business analysts. You coordinate your daily tasks with these colleagues rather than waiting for work to be assigned to you. You will be involved in all aspects of software development and have room to grow professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce efficient and elegant code based on requirements.
  • Collaborate with other developers and teams to ensure high-quality software and timely delivery.
  • Prepare program documentation of product components.
  • Ensure products conform to design or usability requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance applications on an ongoing basis.
  • Troubleshoot and debug in customer and QA environments.
  • Continuously develop application knowledge in the product suite, technical environment, and technologies.
  • Adhere to standards and is always abreast of tools and standard operating procedure updates.
  • Open to taking on other projects and responsibilities, as necessary.
  • Take initiative in the investigation and implementation of new techniques and tools to improve Infor software.

Key Requirements/Experience

  • Experienced IBM i developer with RPGLE, DB2, SQL, and XML experience
  • Analytical, accurate, and result driven.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Minimum 3 years related experience with a Bachelor or Master technical degree, preferably Computer Science or other technical education.
  • Finance, Manufacturing, or Supply Chain Management domain knowledge is preferred.
