Description & Requirements

The Supply Chain Management (SCM) Solution Consultant possesses knowledge of the modules and capabilities included in Infor’s SCM solution for the Healthcare industry.

As a member of the wider Healthcare sales team, the SCM Solution Consultant is primarily responsible for supporting the sales process and interacting with prospective customers through a variety of sales cycle activities, including Request for Proposal processes, discovery sessions, executive overviews, scripted and non-scripted solution demonstrations, software labs, follow-up discussions, and post-demonstration surveys. You may also be asked to participate in value engineering engagements, trade shows, Inforum (Infor’s annual users conference), and other customer-facing activities.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Take ownership of effective SCM solution demonstrations to prospects and customers that positively influence license deal pursuits and customer success.
  • Lead Infor presentations that reinforce solution value at various audience levels, including executives, business users, and stakeholders.
  • Enhance the Solution Consulting community within Infor. Teamwork and continuous improvement are critical to the success of Solution Consulting. It is incumbent on every SC to contribute to the knowledge and content for the collective team.
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs and similar requests from prospects.
  • Work with account executives on sales opportunities, including defining the solution scope, formulating account strategy, and jointly preparing for prospect interactions.
  • Participate in prospect-facing activities such as discovery calls, and solution demos.
  • With the overall Solution Consulting team, participate in shared activities such as marketing events, Inforum, maintaining RFP response repositories, presentation collateral, and demo content.


Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in a pre-sales / solution consulting role focusing on enterprise software and/or a background in clinical nursing with some enterprise software experience. 
  • Experience in the healthcare industry specifically.
  • Customer management skills with presentation experience.  
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders at every level of the organization.
  • Motivated to learn new software solutions and how various software solutions integrate with each other for a total solution package.
  • Organized and proficient at multi-tasking without task-level supervision.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Organized and proficient at multi-tasking across customer engagements, internal mandates, and RFPs without task-level supervision.
  • Previous experience in a Healthcare leadership role
  • Bonus points for BI and analytics skills or experience.
