Position Summary

The Pathways team is looking for a seasoned pre-sales professional to join their team. This individual will need to have experience in Logal Government, ideally in rates and revenues.

Role and Responsibility

  • Become a key influential person for Local Government within Infor Pacific
  • Participate in the development and ongoing refinement of the Strategic Direction of Pathway, including the Go-To-Market strategy specific to Pathway for Local Government
  • Confidently present and articulate the strategic direction and digital capabilities of Infor Pathway
  • Through a consultative approach use industry knowledge and best practices, coupled with knowledge of how Pathway can drive improvement to secure new business and differentiate us from the competition
  • Work in conjunction with our AEs and other consultants and SMEs to derive a winning proposition and sales strategy for new license opportunities
  • Demonstrate Infor Pathway in a way that clearly differentiates us from the competition
  • Facilitate the scope, build, and presentation of tailored demonstrations and proof of concepts that connect to tangible business outcomes
  • Presenting and explaining concepts for customers and prospects so that they understand the likely impacts of proposed solutions
  • Assist AEs with the build and delivery of a compelling business case that is aligned to customer’s goals and objections in order to drive license revenue and customer success
  • Collaborate with AEs, SAs and other SMEs to develop the appropriate solution Bill Of Material (BOM) to drive customer satisfaction and value
  • Work collaboratively on cross functional teams to continually provide feedback on ways Pathway can improve product functionality, consulting services, training offerings and sales collateral, demo content and messaging
  • Provide feedback to Product Management, Marketing, and Sales on clients’ use of products, competitor information, and product enhancement needs

Qualifications

  • Experience in a comparable pre-sales / consulting position, supporting sales cycles selling to Local Government organisations is essential
  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Computer Science or equivalent work experience, having been a part of a business consultancy team
  • 5 years of application software solution consultant experience in the ERP space
  • Ability to understand the customers’ business objectives and how these can be met by Infor solutions to enable the customers’ desired outcomes, including configuration and demonstration showcasing the solution
