We are looking for an Associate Business Analyst skilled in financial accounting with knowledge in the revenue management and order-to-bill process. In this role, you will be essential in implementing and optimizing software applications that enhance our billing and revenue operations by working with various stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. The ideal candidate will be an effective communicator, able to converse with all levels of the organization, and blend their accounting expertise with cutting-edge industry software to develop effective solutions and drive operational efficiency improvements. The position will be part of the Business Solutions Delivery team working on the Finance Business Analyst team.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Collaborating with finance, IT, and business stakeholders to design billing and revenue solutions that align with best practices and business needs
- Integrating accounting principles with modern software to enhance revenue cycle processes and ensure compliance with standards like ASC 606 and IFRS 15
- Maintaining and optimizing applications across the revenue cycle, including billing, CPQ, receivables, and revenue recognition
- Conducting workshops and gathering requirements to support solution design and process improvements
- Analyzing root causes of issues and working with cross-functional teams to implement effective resolutions
- Creating clear documentation such as process flows, functional specifications, and user guides
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in accounting, specifically within revenue management
- Previous experience creating documentation
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite (Powerpoint, Word, Excel)
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or Information Technology
- Previous experience with Salesforce or Zuora applications
- Previous experience configuring enterprise software
- Previous experience with Agile methodology and ceremonies
- Previous experience with Jira
- Previous experience with process flow building tools (such as Lucidchart, Visio, or Process Flow Builder in Microsoft Powerpoint).
