Position Summary

The Business Intelligence Director will have overall leadership responsibility for a North American Consulting organization, including leading and managing the vision, strategy development and go to market approach and managing and directing the operations of the organization to execute on the corporate strategies and to meet the company’s revenue, growth, and profit objectives.  This role also includes responsibility for ensuring that the Consulting organization has the talent/resources needed to meet stated goals and objectives.       

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

·         Delivery

o   Engage with project teams to deliver a high quality solution within budget that delights the customer

o   Ensure that project delivery adheres to best practices

·         Sales

o   Look for opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell Birst within an account

o   Obtain references

o   Work with Sales to determine how our solutions can solve customer’s business challenges

o   Create the go-to-market approach for our solutions and ensure Statements of Work are accurate and complete

·         Operational

o   Ensure that utilization, margin and other stated metrics are met

o   Manage a team of resources and ensuring that they have the talent/resources to meet stated goals and objectives; includes organizational planning and developing talent to meet both short- and long-term objectives as well as ensuring maximum productivity

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10+ years experience with Business Intelligence/Analytics
  • Proven leadership capabilities and demonstrated ability to motivate teams towards high levels of achievement
  • Proven ability to influence at the senior executive level
  • Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
