A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

    • Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for a variety of Infor Hospitality products
    • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for a variety of Infor Hospitality products
    • Work within the Infor Hospitality Cloud Technology and Security team to facilitate and promote modern DevOps best practices

Experience In:

    • Experience in designing and programming “cloud-native” aspects of large scale systems based on Amazon Web Services
    • Solid background in major AWS technologies such as CloudFormation, IAM, Security Groups, KMS, S3, Elastic Container Service, Route53, ALB, ElastiCache Redis, MSK, Elasticsearch.
    • Deep understanding of the concept of containerization and practical experience in building docker containers
    • Production-level programming experience related to cloud automation in a Linux environment
    • Effective communication skills and team-work mentality in collaborating with a diverse group of people in a global organization

Basic Qualifications:

    • University or College Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or adjacent field of study
    • Commanding knowledge of Linux or any UNIX-derived Operating System.  Preference given to candidates who use Linux or a UNIX-like OS as their daily driver.
    • Proficiency in UNIX-style shell scripting, such as sh, bash, zsh, etc.
    • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, CloudFormation, etc.
    • Experience with source code management systems such as Git and Subversion
    • Programming language skills in Java, C#, Python or other major languages
    • Experience with Docker and containerization a plus
    • Experience with AWS a plus

Optional:

    • Agile software development practice
    • Experience in GitLab, Nexus, Maven
    • Experience with log management and monitoring tools such as Sumo Logic, Splunk, Logic Monitor, etc.
