Marketing Manager – Industry/Product Content Marketing (Distribution & Supply Chain)

Location: Remote – US/Canada

Position Summary

We need to have better engagement with our prospects, customers and the market through compelling, relevant, and original content. We are investing in content creation with tight integration into marketing campaigns that support the Infor brand and our differentiated value.

The Product Marketing Manager is focused on leading the development of quality, compelling, and engaging content to further enhance the demand for our products and services. You will be conceiving and managing content for integrated campaigns in a global tech b2b software market focused on the distribution and process manufacturing industries with a focus on supply chain management. You will need to be forward-thinking to anticipate future trends and success of our brand and have knowledge of what content types are most effective in driving conversations and engagement along the different stages of the buyer journey. Critical to this role will be partnering and collaborating with a cross functional team including product & industry strategists, product managers, brand and campaigns, creative, and marketing operations, to gather feedback, develop, and deliver clear messaging for Infor products and services with the goal of driving engagement and conversions of opportunities.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Working with industry strategists and regional marketing teams to build content to help fill the marketing funnel
  • Planning content strategies for integrated campaigns; develop and manage the creation of the content required by those campaigns to achieve business goals and support brand strategy
  • Partnering with the digital & integrated marketing teams to execute the content
  • Analyzing the performance of content with the digital team to understand how to optimize and improve our approach to content
  • Partnering with the product/industry strategists and marketing creative team in the development and creation of product-related content: videos, case studies, white papers, collateral, etc.
  • Sourcing partners and internal content makers to commission and develop content
  • Developing and maintaining ongoing knowledge and mastery of the Infor buyer/customer profiles

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree / Marketing Qualification
  • 5+ years experience in marketing and content creation
  • Experience creating marketing content focused on the B2B software industry
  • Excellent storytelling, verbal, and written communications skills
  • Proven expertise in marketing and planning and creation of content across various media (executive briefs, byline articles, blogs, social, email, video, etc.)
  • Work effectively within a team, yet have the self-motivation and ability to take initiative alone
  • A strategic thinker with a proven ability to identify opportunities, create compelling content strategies, and gain support from cross-functional stakeholders
  • Possess strong organization and planning skills – control workload and deadlines while juggling priorities for efficiency and productivity
  • A self-starter with a curiosity for the product space – learns quickly and is flexible to adapt to changes
  • Experience planning and driving strategically grounded and brilliant campaign content

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Background in enterprise software – ERP & cloud/saas solutions
  • Background experience of one or several of our focus industries or solutions: industrial manufacturing; process manufacturing; distribution; ERP; supply chain
