Description & Requirements

This Product Owner will focus on identifying, evaluating, prioritizing and defining new capabilities and features of our Human Capital Management suite. They will focus on our advancing the common technologies and experiences that are used across our suite. They will work to identify opportunities to improve the user experience (UX) of our existing solutions and opportunities to use emerging and cross-Infor platform technology.  Their work will improve the productivity and satisfaction of millions of employees and administrators across over 1,000 companies globally.  They will work collaboratively with senior product and UX leaders, sales, customer success, customers and engineering across the product development lifecycle including leading Agile Scrum ceremonies and managing a development backlog.

A Day In The Life Typically Includes:  
  • Identifying, analyzing, evaluating and defining new product features and investments that leverage emerging and disruptive technology
  • Creating early wireframes and sketches of solutions to advance our UX
  • Talking to customers and other market influencers to deeply understand their needs and potential roadmap priorities
  • Collaborating with customers, sales, customer success and engineering to industry strategists, professional service teams and other R&D leaders
  • Prioritizing product roadmaps and Scrum team backlogs
  • Leading sprint planning, backlog refinement and story time ceremonies with development teams
  • Leading concept generation with other product stakeholders to ideate and validate potential solutions for the opportunities you identify
  • Driving product launch and release activities for new features of your product area and measuring user satisfaction, solution usability and adoption metrics
 
Basic Qualifications 
  • Experience at HCM-related software providers (such as HR, payroll, scheduling, recruiting, learning management)
  • Experience leading Agile ceremonies and activities including maintaining backlogs and prioritizing sprints
  • Experience as a Product Owner or equivalent role
  • Experience with user-centered design principles, user research practices and wireframing
  • Experience leading customer-facing activities including requirement gathering workshops, research, roadmap reviews and demos
  • Experience defining business requirements, user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Product, collaboration and development tools (e.g. Aha, Jira, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Slack, LucidChart, Miro)
  • Presentation and stakeholder management experience 

Preferred Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Journalism, Computer Science, Data Science or related field
  • Experience with lean requirement gathering and Agile Scrum development best practices
  • Product development lifecycle and Agile practices
  • Pragmatic Institute Product Management certification
  • Experience using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize and drive decision-making
  • HCM and work technology competitive landscape experience
  • Emerging and automation technologies (e.g. robotic process automation, artificial intelligence, big data analytics, natural language processing)

We anticipate paying between $120,000 - $150,000 per year.  You may also be offered discretionary variable compensation of $10,000.  Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.  In addition, Infor provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
