Description & Requirements
The Project Manager will have experience in software solution delivery, is well-versed in project methodologies and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The Project Manager is an effective facilitator who delivers high-quality results and brings excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills to the team.
The Project Manager will take full control of in-flight client project initiatives and manage both the client relationship and the Infor resources, to deliver projects on time and on budget, in order to provide value to our customers. A strong public sector background is a requirement along with experience in working collaboratively with Account Managers, Solution Delivery, Support and R&D Managers. The Project Manager will be experienced in both SaaS based and on-premise based projects.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Partner with our consultants and customers to tailor the solution designs.
- Engage with the Customer / Stakeholders to ensure the Customer is committed to the project, actively fulfilling their obligations to the project and is satisfied with project progress
- Control the Project Scope making sure it is defined, understood, and being managed with a documented change request process that is being effectively followed
- Complete an accurate schedule which acts as the baseline and used to effectively manage the project and the schedule is on track with no delays
- Manage and report Infor Financials to determine if we are on budget, invoices, and AR are managed and reported/discussedregularly with the customer; the project is on track to meet the agreed to margin.
- Make sure risks are identified and mitigated with contingency budgeted, and issues are appropriately managed
- Ensure the project status is being reported internally and externally, and steering committee meetings are effective in governing the project
- Ensure Infor products and services delivery are meeting the client’s requirements and objectives
What You Will Need:
- Experience as a Project / Program Manager / Testing Manager implementing ERP projects
- Experience managing subcontractors
- Must have either Consulting or Vendor experience
- Ability to successfully manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Proven track record of influencing, negotiating, and engaging stakeholders to achieve outcomes
What Will Put You Ahead?
- Experience in ERP project management in Local Government market is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent people skills to manage the Infor Project Team and the customer stakeholders
- Must possess strong listening skills & transparent communication
- Experience working with, and or coordinating the efforts of multiple stakeholders
- Able to travel as needed (around 50%) throughout Pacific region with some overseas travel for customer engagements and for personal development training
