Description & Requirements

The Project Manager is responsible and accountable for the successful implementation of Infor’s projects. The role is based in Iberia and requires regular travel to Infor’s client sites in Europe. The PM develops positive relationship with stakeholders creating a high level of customer satisfaction and help customers realize expected benefits.

 

A Day in The Life Typically Includes: 

 

  • Exhibit a sense of urgency and responsiveness in providing quality service to Infor’s customers
  • Improve customer engagement continuously and ensure customer success
  • Own and be accountable for the financial management of the account as well as scope, budget, schedule and quality
  • Track project status and communicate it to both customer and Infor organizations
  • Ensure the agreed project methodology and tools are adhered to and followed at all times by all parties
  • Speak and operate very fluently in Spanish and English

 

 

Basic Qualifications: 

 

  • Possess a high degree of project planning and organizational skills
  • Have five to ten years of project management experience on completion of numerous software and product implementations e.g. full lifecycle ERP implementation projects
  • Able to manage multiple functions, projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Have experience working with, and/or coordinating the efforts of multiple parties (e.g. third parties, clients, off-shore departments and product development)
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly-changing environment, working with complex projects and handling demanding customers
  • Able to perform under time pressure and acquire desired outcome for the project
  • Have strong communication skills and be able to efficiently communicate at all levels of the project

Financial Management and Ownership


  • Own and be accountable for the Profit & Loss (P&L) and Margin of the programme / Account
  • Own, monitor and control project financials and report various finance KPIs
  • Ensure that the commercial status of the account and project financials are on target
  • Establish cost control plan and allocate the project budget
  • Accountable for the forecast of the account - Review and approve the weekly/monthly forecasts
  • Ensure customer billings/payments are on target and on time whist at the same time ensuring Account Receivables are kept to a minimumReview and approve programme financials on weekly basis 

Strong Implementation Governance


  • Owner of Scope, budget, schedule, risk, issue and quality of the programme and projects
  • Accountable for the leadership of multiple project managers and project directors. 
  • Be able to guide project directors and project managers; establish project roles and responsibilities with customer to align programme requirements to resource competencies and establish the team
  • Identify project stakeholders and establish the communication plan
  • Simultaneously manage multiple functions, projects, priorities and time pressure
  • Review and approve staffing plan and staffing changes
  •  Ensure the agreed project methodology is adhered to and followed at all times
  • Accountable for the detailed work breakdown structure of the overall programme which must be available and updated at all times including detailed tasks and named resources
  • To participate in assigned Sales campaigns working closely with all Infor departments and ensuring that Infor’s processes and procedures are followed at all times and the appropriate approvals for all bids are followed at all times
  •  Partner with Infor’s sales, development, cloud operations and other teams and departments to ensure project & solution direction
