The Infor U Tools Team is in search of a dynamic, self-motivated software developer to design, develop and implement test scripts using Selenium and Java to automate the testing of Infor U course materials with at least 3 – 4 years of experience. This role will be responsible for development, implementation, monitoring and maintenance of automation scripts.

The ideal candidate must have scripting experience using Java, Selenium and Python. This individual will need to possess an algorithmic way of understanding and thinking capability. It is essential for the candidate to exhibit a comprehensive grasp of programming skills within a high-paced, matrixed environment, while being capable of navigating challenges without compromising timelines or the quality of deliverables.

·       Perform as quality analysts on methodologies, technologies and problem-solving techniques

·       Defines and documents QA/Testing methodologies and processes

·       Drive QA initiatives amongst different product teams

·       Collaboration with BAs, Dev and Product Owners

·       Review, maintain and create test coding standards and processes

·       Actively participate in planning, preparing and executing effective test efforts

·       Effectively use test tools, defect tracking tools and other test support tools and identify and implement process improvements where applicable

·       Prioritize testing tasks based on goals and risks of projects and ensure testing milestones, activities and tasks are completed as scheduled

·       Report the status of test planning, defects and execution activities, including regular status updates to the project team using quality metrics

·       Ensure traceability between product requirements, delivered code and test case verification

·       Become a subject matter expert in respective modules, maintain expert functional and technical product knowledge

·       Participate in planning and/or creation of test automation

Basic Qualifications:

·       3 – 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance

·       Strong knowledge of Java Programming Language and SQL Database

·       Strong knowledge in implementing a new framework in Selenium

·       Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills

·       Understanding of web applications and multi-tiered product architectures

·       Flexible to work across different time zones

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field of study

·       Knowledge of the Agile Scrum methodology

·       Previous experience writing automated tests

·       Experience with Defect tracking tools like Jira etc…

·       Knowledge of Cloud Multi-Tenant application architectures
