As a Visual Designer, you’ll join the Infor Design team, which is responsible for overseeing Infor’s product design language. You will be invested in crafting high-fidelity visual design. You must have exceptional command of visual composition, typographic hierarchy, and user interface design.

To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to deliver rapidly within a lean process and alongside multiple stakeholders. You will solve for the utility and usability of Infor applications powered by Infor enterprise platforms. You will focus on the user, crafting and executing feasible experiences in collaboration with your engineering partners.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

• Creating visually appealing designs for user interfaces on websites and mobile apps
• Continuously contribute to Infor’s design language and identity via our design system (design.infor.com)
• Design, update, and support visual assets, including icons and illustrations
• Articulate design guidelines, including informational and visual hierarchy, layout, typography, and iconography
• Obtain feedback on your designs in order to iterate and drive improvements in future releases
• Advocate for Infor's design principles, best practices, and guidelines to a variety of internal teams and partners

Required Skills:

• Proven work experience as a visual designer, UI designer, or similar role 
• Comprehensive understanding of design systems and previous experience developing one
• Ability to articulate product functionality both visually and verbally
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage, influence, and inspire partners to drive collaboration and alignment
• Outstanding skills in Figma
• A passion for complex problem solving
• Curiosity to know how things work and the ability to use that knowledge to make connections and find opportunities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in fast-paced, startup-like environment
• Experience working in an agile development process
• Understanding of HTML and CSS
• Knowledge or experience with Principle or any prototyping tools is a plus
• iOS and Android mobile design experience
