Title: Financial Analyst

Location: Hyderabad

 Summary:

Project Accountant Responsibilities:

  • Would be part of Services Operations and responsible for end to end of services project: 

o   Make sure projects are setup accurately including revenue guidelines

o   Prepare and publish the associated activities, trends, reports, and metrics of the services department

o   Own & work towards resolving complex issues, determine root causes, and recommend quality improvements

o   Proactively address issues and barriers – inclusive of project creation to billing / revenue recognition etc.

o   Adhere to internal control guidelines

    • Work with staff, project managers, and others on developing appropriate processes to expedite clean, accurate, and prompt billing.
  • Propose, Prepare & Process credit and rebill process which includes: consistently working with PM’s and managers to write credit packages, get internal credit approval, and process credit/rebill.
  • Work with Project Approval Team and ensure contracts are getting approved timely and accurately; review contracts which contain non-standard language and direct team when needed to ensure they are set up correctly.
  • Work with Vendor 3P process to ensure time and expenses are being entered accurately and that invoices are getting submitted to AP on time.
  • Review and make sure accurate 3p accrual file is proposed during the month
  • Identify, recommend & work with PMs for unbilled >60 Days, % of completion of projects (POC) etc.
  • Own month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closings including reviewing, analyzing, and reconciling
  • Assist in the preparation of various monthly reports and ad hock reporting as required.

.What You Will Need:

 Basic Qualifications:

  • Accounting and/or business background.  Degreed.
  • Excellent English Language skills verbally and written
  • Heavy excel skills, large volumes of data, pivots, and report creation
  • Deadline oriented / Detail oriented
  • Ability to manage and motivate large team, but also be a very hands-on expert systems user
  • Work largely US Hours (Eastern Standard time zone)
