Infor is looking for an Associate Procurement Specialist that will be responsible for supporting VMO (Vendor Management Office) and internal customers in understanding and aligning on goals and objectives of the business units.  This person will be responsible for managing and leading sourcing events with select categories during the sourcing process, reviewing and negotiating contracts and working closely with legal, stakeholders, suppliers, and internal corporate resources within and across teams, business units, organizations, and regions to achieve strategic sourcing goals. 

A Day In the Life Looks Like:
  • Support and participate on procurement teams and projects.  
  • Support business users with day-to-day procurement queries. 
  • Review purchase requests and ensure appropriate approvals.
  • Manage corporate contracts for many different areas such as IT, Office Services, Marketing and HR to leverage buying power and maintain consistent standards across the organization.  
  • Create and manage Requests for Proposal and other bidding/quotation activities as required.
  • Review/evaluate vendors regarding privacy and GDPR 
  • Maintain competitive sources of supply to ensure an adequate vendor base from which to obtain products and services.
  • Manage the overall procurement process and ensure that procedures are continually monitored for best practices. 

Basic Qualifications:
  • Ability to work in the US for any employer without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Experience using Microsoft applications.
  • Prior procurement / buying experience.
  • Experience in contract negotiation.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.
