Project Manager, Associate

Position Summary

The Project Manager, Associate, is an IT graduate with at least 6 years IT-related work experience, who can provide project leadership on an ERP product on areas such as product planning, deliveries, onboarding, and process development. He/She will work in a team that coordinates with all development teams, secures the deliveries, and keeps management and stakeholders informed of schedules, priorities, and problems.

 

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

 

  • Learn cloud-based industry functionalities
  • Perform project management tasks:
  • Planning
  • Risk mitigation
  • Decision making
  • Oversee activities in relation to the monthly releases
  • Ensure that all tickets are updated with latest information
  • Close cooperation with Governance, Release and Operations
  • Chair meetings with product coordinators, governance, release, operations, and approving managers on a daily basis
  • Daily monitoring of critical issue tickets that will or are impacting production.
  • Manage primarily a single set of products under a Cloud Suite continuously instead of handling different projects from time to time.
  • Oversee efforts to ensure timelines, targets and specifications are fulfilled, and identify risks and escalate to management as needed.
  • Work with globally distributed teams (technical and non-technical) and stakeholders in different time zones
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with sense of urgency, can do attitude, visibility, and with efficiency
  • Handle various tasks and complete within the agreed delivery timeframe
  • Work in a flexible manner with an established team in a multitenant environment using existing tools and Agile processes
  • Participate and contribute to the continuous improvement of the team and processes
  • Follow through on the company and team specific policies and guidelines
  • Administer related ad hoc tasks as requested.

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must be a 4-year IT Graduate    
  • At least 6 years IT experience
  • At least 1 year project management experience.
  • Strong presentation skills in planning, communicating updates, targets or timelines, upcoming changes, risks and challenges
  • Strong interpersonal skills such as good oral and written communication, teamwork, flexibility, dependability, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills such as delegation of tasks, decision making, coordinating activities, attention to details, documentation/administrative tasks
  • Can demonstrate strong work ethics e.g. “can do” attitude, efficiency, sense of urgency, willingness to learn, “thinks outside of the box” attitude, efficient, good time manager, hardworking and with sound moral and ethical principles who does the right thing
  • Must be willing to adjust work schedule and must be willing to render overtime
  • Must be willing to adjust shift to European time zone on regular base
  • English is the communication and written language

What Will Put You Ahead?

Experience in the following:

  • Involved in planning and overseeing projects, from ideation to completion, and acts as liaison between project team and stakeholders for a project.
  • Experience in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and cloud-based applications
  • Tracked project(s) and provided regular reports on project status to project team and key stakeholders.
  • 1 year QA experience
  • General knowledge in AWS
  • Working with global distributed teams
  • PM certifications
