Infor is seeking a QA engineer to join the ERPA XA product team. The QA Engineer should be a dynamic professional who should have a thorough understanding of QA testing environments, software development life cycles. This QA Engineer should be decisive, action-oriented, learns quickly, independently, and takes ownership of open issues. The work includes a variety of activities ranging from manual testing, automated testing, creation of test cases & test plans, testing of new features and bug fixes.

Title: Senior Quality Automation Engineer

Experience: 3-5 Years

Location: Preferably Hyderabad / Remote

Education: Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in CSE/IT.

Basic Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in testing. Experience in automation testing is desirable.
• Experience on ERP product testing or any ERP product testing for one year. Should have knowledge of manufacturing and SCM domain.
• Strong analytical skills, and Ability to multi-task
• Excellent communication required with offshore, onsite and customer.
• Self-motivated with desire to learn product functionality without limited supervision.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with SQL, Relational databases, Processes, Java, and Software development lifecycle.
• Ability to work in current technical environments and with collaborative tools (Jira, Wiki, etc.)

Responsibilities:

• Use test automation tools and manual testing to execute test plans and identify defects prior to release.
• Preparing and executing test plans along with all other aspects of software testing
• Identifying, logging, and tracking of software defects
• Re-test on defect fixes to confirm resolution.
• Interpret functional requirements and translate them into test requirements.
• Ensure the quality of all deliveries.
• Testing new or modified software to ensure a level of quality and conformance to requirements and established.
• Be open to take on other projects and responsibilities as necessary.
