Position Summary

The Solution Architect role provides sales support and delivery leadership, guiding the Infor consulting teams and customers on how to achieve success with their Infor Supply Chain Planning (SCP) solution through industry and implementation leading practices. 

Your Responsibilities Include 
  • Collaborate with sales and delivery teams from initial sales discovery through design and implementation of the solution across various industries 
  • Able to translate business and technical requirements into a project and architectural blueprint that achieves the desired business outcomes, including identifying solutions 
  • Able to define scope of the project via a broader solution and visioning conversations
  •  Assist in the creation of the delivery roadmap, estimates and project timelines 
  • Lead projects in a highly collaborative model with Infor consultants and clients
  • Inspire and mentor our consultants, with a focus on building expertise our clients value and accelerating career advancement of strong performers 
  • Provide thought leadership and become a trusted advisor to our clients and establish and maintain relations with all project stakeholders, including C-level management and directors 
  • Use consulting skills, business knowledge and package solution expertise to effectively implement package technology in a client business environment in order to achieve client expected business results 
  • Lead working sessions to understand client business requirements 
  • Work closely with client stakeholders to define and document client specific business needs and requirements 
  • Develop and deliver project deliverables such as roadmap, process diagrams, use cases, gap analysis and functional design documents 
  • Provide subject matter expertise regarding key business decisions related to industry and/or functional area ? Participate in and/ or lead quality management reviews including design, prototype and other stages of project, to ensure requirements are fulfilled
  • Excellent technical understanding of cloud services, software platforms and technical architecture 
  • Contribute to Infor SCP Communities and process enhancement initiatives, including the further development of project-specific documents, tools, and artifacts 

Knowledge and Skills, You Bring to the Organization 
  • First-level university degree: Bachelors or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of consulting experience 
  • Strong Manufacturing / Distribution Industry experience • Industry certifications (eg. TOGAF) 
  • Proven leadership capabilities and demonstrated ability to develop people and motivate teams towards high levels of achievement 
  • Must have strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms
  • Strong written and oral skills 
  • Flexibility to travel as require
