The Sr. Director, Learning Product Development will lead the development team and drive execution of learning offerings. This leader will manage a team focused on education offerings that span various modalities – self-paced, micro-learning, blended learning, VILT, as examples.  They will work with internal and external stakeholders and collaborate on insights to improve enablement and create thoughtful offerings based on industry leading practices. The Sr. Director drives proactive cross-functional and industry alignment across the Education and Enablement teams and provides strategic leadership to ensure development goals are successfully designed and executed by their team. This is an opportunity to lead and motivate a skilled team, in an environment where success is measured on delivering high quality educational content that drive adoption across all of our audiences. The Sr. Director, Learning Product Development is ultimately accountable for the coverage and quality of learning content.

The Sr. Director, Learning Product Development works closely with other leaders within the Education Leadership team from the Go-to-Market, Operations, and Portfolio teams and reports to the VP, Learning Product and Strategy. In addition, this position will collaborate with other stakeholders, including Education Services Delivery, Product Engineering, Support, Consulting, and Product Management.


A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

Develop and execute the learning product strategy for Infor Education & Enablement, in collaboration with the Education Programs and Portfolio teams.

Lead with industry best practices and governance to serve customer, partner, and employee enablement & education.

Ingest and apply insights from business metrics and industry best practices, tools, processes, and options, present findings and identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and scale of offerings.

Understand the technical & professional skills training needs of Infor customers, partners, and employees including needs specific to various roles and geographies, that are aligned and supportive of Infor business and product vision.

Foster relationships with the various Infor stakeholders, collaborating to select required courses and appropriate titles, topics, and modalities for learning.

Required skills:

Extensive experience in a similar role where you have led a growing Curriculum Development team, being responsible for building roadmap, curriculum strategy, and measuring success.

Ability to operate and execute at a rigorous pace on development of course offerings based on roadmaps, time-based management, and efficiency of development resources.

Experience in building, improving, and scaling product training offerings for a technical audience.

Passionate people leader with extensive experience hiring, growing and leading teams, including other people managers.

Drive cohesion and understanding of priorities of the team and output expected.

Creative, out-of-the-box thinker.

Proactive thought leader and change agent.


Preferred Qualifications:

Proven track record of leading large curriculum teams with responsibility of thousands of course offerings across numerous product lines.

Strong executive presence.

Product management a pragmatic mindset (Pragmatic Institute Certification)

Ability to lead through change and transformation.

Using Jira/Kanban approach for efficiency, planning, resource allocation.

Harnesses the ‘art of the possible’ with innovation approaches and practices.

Active member of industry technical training organizations like CEdMA and TSIA.
