Infor Corporate Marketing is looking for a creative, and experienced leader to head the Global Events program for the business. The events program is a pivotal component of our Marketing strategy used to drive brand awareness, build pipeline, and drive customer satisfaction and loyalty. The events program is multi-faceted including marquee events annually in the US, Europe and APJ, various industry tradeshows and oversee select internal events.
The experienced leader in this role will have strategic oversight for the entire end-to-end program working in partnership with key stakeholders in the Marketing team and various functions in the business to build a strategy to meet company goals.
A Day In The Life Includes:
- Owns Global Events strategy for Infor and oversees the successful execution of corporate events. This includes developing and executing events strategy involving key stakeholder parties including Marketing, Sales, Customer, and Industry Leadership.
- Oversee the budget ensuring appropriate cost controls and negotiations with vendors, partners, etc. to ensure the best price points are being achieved.
- Manage the planning and timing of events to support Marketing’s strategy for business growth and acceleration of pipeline, including early securing of event locations and consistent theme development.
- Direct management of the Infor Event marketing team.
- End-to-end Collaboration – Drive stakeholder alignment and greater collaboration around key global events. Drive early regional and executive stakeholder engagement in partnership with Field Marketing representatives or directly with regional Marketing stakeholders. Provide end-to-end visibility and overall coordination of event-related workstreams, especially pre-event execution (promotions, branding, early interest and awareness through digital and social media) and post-event execution, to document and communicate results.
- Agency Management – Identify, engage, and contract suitable (internal/external) agencies to manage respective projects, including related budget and cost. Identify and recommend preferred agencies and manage vendor agreements to optimize investments.
- Field Enablement – Consistently align with marketing and/or business stakeholders in the region and encourage their regional field enablement. Understand the role of stakeholder management in rolling out effective marketing activities, thus influencing internal stakeholders and making relevant decisions for all related marketing tactics and assets to optimize impact in the market. Constantly monitor use to optimize support and enablement, including but is not limited to re-formatting, adaptation of rollout plans, fine-tuning of target audiences, integration of new communication channels or routes, etc.
Basic Qualifications:
- Cross-marketing experience with particular experience in event program ownership for a highly-recognized brand.
- Prior experience in leadership, developing and executing strategy.
- Understanding of the evolving role of events in the digital age.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with analytics and research to build better campaigns.
- Change management leader with problem-solving skills.
- Experience managing agency and production partnerships to deliver successful events.
Job Location: US Remote (Alpharetta, GA, Dallas, TX, St. Paul, MN)
For California, Colorado, New York and Washington applicants, we anticipate paying between $155,000 - 195,000 per year. You may also be offered discretionary variable compensation.
