The System Administration, Associate (Development Operations) role involves system administration and development responsibilities, with a 70% focus on operations and 30% on automation. This role will be collaborating with other development teams to ensure applications are proactively maintained through documentation, monitoring, support, and architecture alignment with development strategies and Infor's standards. The role emphasizes identifying and streamlining manual processes, automating workflows, and improving efficiency. DevOps Engineers in this position are part of an agile deployment team, responsible for application deployment, configuration, solution implementation, testing, quality reviews, operations management, and resolving operational issues.

What You Will Need:
Required skills:
  • Completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Has good design, analytical, and coding skills
  • Scripting experience using Python, Bash, Perl, or other languages
  • Proficiency in writing structured query language (RDBMS or NoSQL)
  • Experience with infrastructure as code and monitoring as code
  • Linux OS management experience
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external teams to drive projects
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision and can handle ambiguity.
  • Amenable to reporting in the BGC, Taguig office 3x per week
  • Comfortable with rotating shifts and being on-call rotation during weekends

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Cloud computing (AWS) experience or at least knowledge on how it works 

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
  • Proactively maintain system stability through monitoring and proactive maintenance of environments
  • Drive innovations to improve availability, reliability and performance
  • Implement and improve upon automated system and application monitoring
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues escalated by customers and partners
  • Completion of code deployments/releases
  • Expand automation of manual or inefficient processes
  • Create documentation related to application architecture
  • Work closely with the other teams to manage and extend infrastructure, monitoring and application stability
  • Participation in on-call rotation
