Technical Architect - Nexus

Remote Based - USA

The Technical Architect works within the Professional Services organization at Infor. This position will serve in a technical consulting capacity to understand customer business requirements, turn them into technical requirements and apply them to the Infor Nexus application to ensure customers’ success. The software is delivered in a cloud-based, on-demand environment and the candidate will work directly with global customers to deliver complex, global supply chain solutions. 

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

• Demonstrates expertise in software implementations

• Utilizes consultative approach in working with customer's technical teams to gather and understand customer requirements in a clear and accurate manner, understands the overall vision of the project, and collaborates closely with the Solution Architect and Implementation Consultant in building solution designs

• Codes complex extensions, and oversees additional engineers coding extensions, to to implement the customer's solution on the Infor Nexus platform

• Leverages Infor Nexus product expertise to guide customer's technical decisions

• Develops technical design specifications

• Acts resourcefully when trying to understand and resolve an issue

• Works closely with and builds positive relationships with customer project teams

• Effectively communicates a variety of information (e.g., technical details, status updates, obstacles and challenges being faced, strategies for resolving issues, reporting and interpretation of data) in a way that the customer understands and finds meaningful

• Responsible for collaborating regularly with global, multicultural teams both within Infor and with the customer

What You Will Need:

Basic Qualifications:

• 3 or more years of experience in a related field or position

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a relevant area of study

• Experience coding in JAVA and Javascript

• Familiarity with REST APIs

• Ability to effectively troubleshoot technical issues, analyze complex problems, and formulate alternative approaches

• Effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to prepare and deliver oral presentations

• Ability to present business process flows and technical applications

• Comfortable working on multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, excellent attention to detail

What Will Put You Ahead?

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the Supply Chain Field

• Experience/Understanding of ERPs
