Position Summary

A Sales Manager (Account Manager) is responsible for software sales to achieve both company and personal quotas. Responsibilities include developing pipeline that provide leads, managing of assigned accounts, and understanding customers’ business issues and design strategies. This individual has advanced knowledge of the Hospitality products and wide latitude for independent actions. Willingness to travel to client site is required.

Your Responsibilities Include

90%       Responsible for generating revenue for assigned territory and accounts:

o   Focus is on the following product set:

o   PMS - Infor HMS Cloud

o   SCS – Sales & Catering

o   EzRMS – Revenue Management

o   HPO (Pricing Software)

o   Use formal professional selling practices and tools

o   Nurture the customer by providing value added solutions

o   Contribute to Strategic and Tactical decisions about Marketing and Selling strategies

o   Serves as key point of contact for assigned customers

o   Maintenance of the internal CRM system

o   Building and maintaining  networks within the industry

10%       Other duties as assigned

Knowledge and Skills, You Bring to the Organization

  • BS/BA in business or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • Knowledge of Hospitality products and how to apply them to solving business problems 
  • Knowledge of the hospitality business
  • Hospitality industry knowledge and the ability to articulate how to solve predefined business issues using Infor products and services
  • Knowledge of hotel budget cycle and technology
  • Must have an active directory of contacts to leverage existing client relationships

Other Key Skills & Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills: writing, editing and presenting
  • Ability to present technical concepts in a clear manner to customers
  • Ability to resolve complex problems
  • Required to work well with the entire Sales team, Consulting, Services, Customer Support Group, Development, Marketing and Sales Management
  • Ability to develop strategies, and execute
  • Language: German & English required
