We are currently looking for a driven and focused individual to join us at Infor in our Solihull office within our Cash Application Department.

The primary responsibility of a Cash Applications Specialist is to ensure that the Cash Apps Team India post all customer receipts in a timely manner assisting where required. You will be heavily involved in cash allocation queries from both India and collection teams and work closely with the Accounting Teams on bank reconciliations. Some cash processing is also required. You will ensure that all treasury reporting is completed on time by India assisting with their queries. You will have a close relationship with all EMEA collection teams, whilst providing back up and core information to the Cash Apps Team in India. Project work for upcoming system upgrades will be a big focus for the Cash Application teams over the coming months.

• Varied role which includes Allocations, Inter Company handling, Direct Debits, Month End close, investigation work with problem resolving/allocation corrections and much more, working with other teams within the SSC and Cash Apps team in India

Required Skills:

• Must be experienced at working to very tight deadlines, working quickly and accurately
• Banking experience, preferably knowledge of Direct Debit processes
• Detail focused ensuring they follow up all unresolved matters and record data accurately
• Advanced Microsoft skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access would be an advantage
• Interpersonal skills
• Basic decision-making ability
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English
• Bright, energetic, attention to detail, organized
• Maintain strong relationships with Internal customers.
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
• Assist with billing KPI reports, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
• Other duties as assigned.
