As a Technical Consultant for Infor Public Sector Projects, you will leverage your technical knowledge and emphasis on cloud & local configurations, authentication & security and integration design. The Consultant plays a key role in assisting our customers with the implementation of Infor public sector solutions software. Infor Public Sector Suite is tailored to meet the complex industry demands of government and utilities—all with the benefit of cloud deployment. This includes community development, regulation, public safety, customer service, asset and work management and utility billing. 



A Day in The Life Typically Includes:   
  • Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors with the goal of determining and recommend a solution(s) that matches the customers' objectives
  • Design solution to align client business needs with standard application capabilities and the best approach for gaps
  • Guide the solution configuration with US and Offshore resources based on design, using iterations of prototypes and testing to validate 
  • Participate in the planning and execution of integrations to other systems
  • Work with agreed quality processes, including quality control through system testing 
  • Review and provide input to effort estimates as requested
  • Provide training and mentoring to team and customers on technical matters


Basic Qualifications:

  • Programming expertise with the ability to make high-level design choices and technical standards, including software coding standards, tools, and platforms
  • Technical knowledge in software development methodologies, implementation, and quality control
  • Experience in using Web platform technologies such as: Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET, HTML5, CSS and/or JavaScript
  • Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator certification, AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) or similar
  • Familiar with security and authentication such as LDAP, SAML, OAuth, OpenID
  • Experience in Backend: IIS, MS SQL/Oracle, REST API creation & consumption
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience implementing technology solutions using commercial products
  • Implementing technical solutions to public sector customers
  • Experience in Object-Oriented Programming a plus
  • Version control including SVN, GIT / Github, Dev tools including Azure DevOps
  • Experience in working in an Agile method with Scrum process
  • Integration design, development and validation
  • OS installations and firewall configurations

Remote (Dallas, TX; St. Paul, MN; and Alpharetta, GA)
