Infor is seeking an experienced Data Custodian to bring an enterprise focus to our data strategy to support consistent, holistic reporting and better decision-making. This critical role partner directly with business stakeholders to identify, define, follow, and improve ongoing data processes, quality, measures, and security rules. A successful candidate will have a proven track record in executing data governance strategies and initiatives that resolve gaps in data quality by working with functional and technical stakeholders to change processes & systems.


A Day in the Life Typically Includes:
  • Partners closely with business domain owners, data stewards, and technical teams across the organization to understand business objectives, create & align to a roadmap of priorities for improvement, and implement data governance processes and technologies.
  • Promotes the awareness of data governance efforts across the organization and leads stewardship committees including facilitating discussions on data-related initiatives.
  • Understands end-to-end data lifecycles of supported data domains including systems, architecture, integrations, and reporting.
  • Defines cross-system and cross-functional data policies & processes to best meet the needs of the Enterprise and bridge gaps across teams aligned to industry standards.
  • Identifies and tracks holistic data quality measure that improve data accuracy, completeness, and consistency for business-critical data, working closely with data stewards to identify and correct issues and proactively improve where possible. 
  • Works closely with functional and technical teams to identify root causes and recommend solutions to fix data quality issues, considering upstream and downstream impacts to other teams.
  • Ensures proper data security policies and access rights are defined and implemented.
  • Evaluates opportunities to automate data processes and recommend tooling to support alongside technical teams.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience in implementing and improving enterprise data governance programs.
  • Experience in managing successful global custom and/or co-development projects and ability to simultaneously manage multiple functions, projects, priorities and time pressure.
  • Experience with database management systems, data warehousing, and data security practices.
  • Experienced project owner.
  • Experience with customer journey lifecycles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with critical data elements that support customer journeys in a High-Tech organization, especially with Account and Contact Data.
  • Familiarity or certifications in continuous improvement frameworks such as Six Sigma.
