Position Summary:

Infor Global Professional Services (GPS) uses a mixture of permanent and sub-contract resources to help deliver its projects.  This role is key to developing and maintaining relationships with partners who can support Infor’s project implementations.  As information security and data privacy becomes increasing important to companies, this role will help ensure Infor’s partners meet Infor’s requirements.  The role will also liaise with Infor’s other partner programs, to ensure partner communication is coordinated and clear. 

Working as part of an integrated staffing team, this role is responsible for effectively sourcing 3rd Party subcontractors for resource requests where internal GPS resources are not available and based on client specific needs, subcontractor skill set/goals, subcontractor availability, subcontractor level (i.e. manager, senior, or associate consultant), and geographical location.  This role will work to ensure subcontractors are staffed on-time and in alignment with the goals of the Project Manager, Resource Manager and resource request, and maintaining the sourcing process, ensuring contractual documents are completed, coordinating placement of subcontractor on a Project with Resource Manager and Project Manager, maintaining proper subcontractor information in resource scheduling/tracking system (Polaris), and preparing 3rd Party Subcontracting reports.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Working with new and existing delivery partners to ensure that they are compliant with Infor’s policies and procedures, including Data Privacy Impact Assessments.
  • Helping support the closer integration of the Delivery Partner Management and Resource Management teams, to enable more efficient meeting of customer sourcing requirements
  • Working with the business to identify and vet potential new delivery partners and then negotiating and establishing subcontracting agreements and if appropriate Infor Partner Network (IPN) Delivery Partner agreements with them.
  • Marketing of Delivery Partner capabilities to GPS Sales & Delivery Teams
  • Coordination of Go to market programs and joint opportunities with GPS Sales
  • Conducting research/resume/skills searches within GPS Delivery Partners to identify potential subcontract options based on client specific needs, resource availability, skills required, level/rate required, and geographical location
  • Proposing qualified subcontractor options to project manager and/or practice lead for approval and final confirmation
  • Working to fill any open positions on projects in order to maximize utilization and revenue.  This will involve proactively and working with Delivery Partners to fill open positions when all other internal options have been exhausted. 
  • Assisting with documentation of 3rd Party Management processes and communications

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business-related field or equivalent discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • 5+ years prior work experience preferably in a software or professional services firm with experience ideally in Partner management and Resource management
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and SharePoint
  • High initiative, flexibility, and adaptability 
  • Experience negotiating and working with contracts with credibility, professionalism, and decisiveness
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work as part of team and execute across multiple assignments/people and tasks along with the ability to work independently
  • Strong writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail while working under pressure, managing priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain effective internal and external business relationships
  • Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly-changing environment
  • Excellent in problem solving, planning, time management, communication, decision making, presentation and organization skills
  • Proven ability to learn and comprehend technologies and the impact on business
  • Proficient (written and spoken) in English
  • Fluent in Japanese due to working closely with local partners and stakeholders
