Position Summary


Infor has a compelling story to tell the world, but often the relevance and advantages get obscured in the marketing process so that our target audiences and influencers are not clear on our market position, differentiation, value or aspirations. Infor has many messages and we need to focus our communications on the key messages and communication channels. Through compelling, relevant, authentic and original content we need to have better conversations with our prospects and customers and the market. We need to set new standards for content creation and its integration into marketing campaigns that support the Infor brand and our differentiated value.

As a key player in the newly restructured content team, this position will take responsibility for managing Discrete Manufacturing product content within a small team of content strategists and creators and report to a Content Lead. This role is focused on the development of quality, compelling and engaging content to drive demand for our products and services.

Qualified candidates will be:

  • A natural collaborator, who will partner across the different marketing functions and with key product marketing and management stakeholders
  • An experienced content manager who can, in collaboration with their Content Lead, devise compelling messaging and content experiences for the products/solutions in their portfolio with the goal of driving engagement, adoption and utilization
  • Experienced in developing and creating content within the global tech b2b software market, on time, on budget and to requirements
  • Knowledgeable of which content types are most effective in driving conversations and engagement along the different stages of the buyer journey
  • Confident to participate in customer interviews and discussions to gather source material to create compelling customer story assets
  • Detail orientated with a passion for delivering high quality content working to an agreed process
  • Numerate and analytical, understanding the importance of measuring content and campaign performance

Essential Duties for products/solutions within your portfolio:

  • Working with product marketing stakeholders to develop product messaging frameworks, telling a cohesive story with our agreed industry messaging
  • multiple campaigns and sales enablement
  • Curate the product content experience on, working closely with the relevant Product marketing/management stakeholders
  • Produce high-quality customer story related content assets to requirements for multiple campaigns,, tier 1 events, and sales enablement
  • Gain approvals as/when needed
  • Drive measurement and tracking of product content consumption. Understand performance and optimize
  • Share learnings and recommendations to the wider content team

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in marketing
  • Excellent storytelling, verbal, and written communications skills
  • Experience planning and driving strategically grounded and brilliant product content across the full range of formats (written, digital, video, audio)
  • Possess strong organization and planning skills – control workload and deadlines while juggling priorities for efficiency and productivity
  • A self-starter with a curiosity for our market and products – learns quickly and is flexible to adapt to changes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree / Marketing Qualification
  • Background in enterprise software – ERP & cloud/saas solutions
  • Background experience of one more several of our Discrete Manufacturing industries: Industrial, Automotive, Aerospace & Defense, High Tech, Construction and Engineering
