Infor is looking for a talented QA Engineer to join our Tunisia Infor SunSystems development team as we build momentum for our recently released Multi-Tenant cloud solution. SunSystems is a well-established financial management solution with a depth of functionality that attracts thousands of B2B customers in multiple verticals around the globe. The solution is combined with real time analytics and is tightly integrated into Infor’s Technology platform.

SunSystems R&D is forming a new team based in Tunisia, to work side by side with the rest of the organisation currently based in Farnborough, UK and Shanghai China. This new team will be focused on Java and front-end development, and is intended to accelerate our delivery work on new features and product modernisation. This team will be part of a thriving local Infor community at the Tunisia office which spans several Infor products and this is great opportunity to get in at the start of the SunSystems team.

As a member of our R&D team, the QA Engineer works closely with Business Analysts, Product Owner, Product Managers, the wider QA organisation and Support teams to develop new functionality and provide an excellent experience for our customers and partners.

The successful candidate will be responsible for validating new software features and REST APIs, supporting developers with investigation of issues and supporting a major modernisation of the product. Initially, you will be the only QA engineer in the Tunisia team, but you will be supported by a strong QA organisation across the UK and Shanghai China. You will need to be confident however working with developers and representing QA in the local team.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
  • Learn new product knowledge by reading the requirements, attend cross functional meetings.
  • Meet with developers/product managers understand the product requirement, communicate defects to the dev team to fix
  • Discuss testing strategies with fellow QA members.
  • Create and review test cases for the product releases.
  • Create automation scripts when test cases are ready.
  • Communicate QA findings/defects using Jira system.
  • Manage QA artefacts using source control systems.

Required Qualification:
  • Solid Experience in test planning, designing, execution, defect tracking and test case creation/execution.
  • Experience in automation test script creation.
  • Solid knowledge of QA methodology and tools.
  • Strong work ethic and team attitude a must. A self-starter who is confident enough to represent QA in the Tunisia team (while of course backed up by the wider QA organization).
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Enterprise, SaaS and/or web platform software development lifecycle a big plus
  • Understanding and experience of working with AWS cloud technologies.
  • MS SQL Server knowledge
  • Experience with our tools – Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, Git
  • Experience testing APIs (REST/SOAP)
  • Ability to think through large abstract systems and processes, comfortable problem-solving and working with data.
  • Customer focused mindset, with the ability to understand end user requirements and consider how users work with our software, to validate user experience as well as functionality.
  • Understanding of Accounting/Reporting/Financial applications, or experience with or exposure to Infor SunSystems and Query and Analysis, beneficial but not required.
