The Software Engineer, Associate, will support the DevX team in ensuring a smooth build process for multiple product teams by maintaining and optimizing the LBF (Build Framework) and LARS (Artifact Repository). This role consists of 70% development and 30% DevOps support.

What You Will Need:
Required skills:
  • Experience in Software Development, Automation, or Build Engineering.
  • Scripting experience in Perl, Python, JavaScript, or PHP
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with development and product teams.
  • Good communication skills, able to explain technical issues and solutions clearly.
What Will Put You Ahead?
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Scripting experience using Java
  • Knowledge of build tools such as Ant, Maven, or MSBuild.
  • Familiarity with source code repository systems like Git, SVN, & CVS.
  • Knowledge of artifact repositories (Nexus, Artifactory, or similar)
  • Understanding of Linux and MacOS environments

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
  • Train as an SME for LBF, developing, improving, maintaining, and cleaning up scripts/software to solve specific problems.
  • Monitor and resolve build issues to prevent delays, especially as the April 2025 release approaches.
  • Address unplanned build and deployment issues from product teams.
  • Support business-critical teams, ensuring efficient and reliable build capabilities.
