We are expanding our Product Development team in Manila, and would like to add a Senior Software Engineer to the team to expand our development capability. The new position will join an existing team of 6 developers and 3 BA/QAs developing primarily in ASP.NET MVC, Web API, HTML/CSS & Angular. The primary responsibilities of the Senior Software Engineer are to write code and provide technical leadership on patterns and practices to the team. All developers in the team will perform peer code and
design reviews; everyone codes and everyone fixes bugs. The team is a team of peers, working together to move the product forward.


A Day in the Life Typically Includes:
  • Implementing new features as directed by Product team in accordance with the development team’s agreed standards & practices. The majority of features will be developed in C#, ASP.NET MVC, Angular, HTML/CSS, jQuery, LINQ, SQL
  • Collaborating on the R&D team’s agreed set of standards and practices
  • Performing peer design, code and test case reviews
  • Contributing to feature design as part of a collaborative process with Product
  • Doing some maintenance of existing code where necessary. Really, everyone in the team should be willing and able to do this. However, as a team we want to minimize this kind of work over time through refactoring, rewriting and improved practices
  • Provide leadership, technical expertise and mentoring to other developers in team

What will you need:
  • Exposed to full SDLC.
  • .Net Core / .Net framework 4.8.1
  • ASP.NET MVC and Web API
  • Angular, JQuery, HTML/CSS and JavaScript
  • ORM tools such Entity Framework / EF Core
  • Should have good knowledge in MVC design patterns.
  • Should have good knowledge in OO Concepts
  • MSSQL Server 2016/2019
  • Strong, up-to-date knowledge of & commercial experience in C#
  • Excellent knowledge of SQL & LINQ
  • Excellent Communication skills

What Will Put You Ahead?

  • Commercial experience in HTML/CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular
  • Commercial experience in AWS Cloud computing or equivalent
  • Experience in developing HTML/CSS for cross-browser applications
  • Experience in SQL performance tuning
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, either Scrum or Kanban
