Infor is looking for a Software engineer to join the Infor Data Fabric – Lakehouse development team. Infor Data Fabric – Lakehouse will be a managed Data Warehouse as a Service component in the Cloud. Such a service will provide large volume data warehousing capabilities in the cloud for eventual consumption by the other Infor Cloud Suites. This will be achieved by exposing various existing database technologies (SQL Server, Redshift, Snowflake etc.) in a managed, secure and symmetrical way.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

• Delivers high-quality software

• Works within a multidisciplinary agile development team

• Closely collaborates with other skilled software engineers, QA engineers, architects and business analysts

• Determines daily tasks in coordination with these colleagues rather than waiting for work to be assigned to you

• Is involved in all aspects of software development and have room to grow professionally

Required skills:

• Experienced software engineer (at least 2 years)

• BS or MS technical degree, preferably Computer Science or other technical education

• Experience in Java Application development using the Spring or Spring Boot framework (at least 2 years)

• Experience in database development using SQL and JDBC (at least 1 year)

• Experience in unit testing preferably using JUnit

• Analytical, accurate and result driven

• Good communication skills (written and oral) in English

• Proactive problem solver

• Experience in working in Agile or Scrum teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with and enjoys working within an international agile development environment

• Experience with Data Warehouses

• Knowledge of AWS

• Knowledge of Docker (or other container platform) or Kubernetes

• Experience with REST APIs

• Knowledge of Postgres and SQL Server

• Knowledge of Cloud application development and/or general Cloud experience
