Performs product design, programming, bug verification, release testing, and beta support which may require research and analysis. Has capability to make breakthroughs in thought, theory or practice that has the impact of delivering innovation that creates competitive advantage.


  • Performs moderately complex product development, systems analysis and programming activities which may require some research and analysis:
    • Performs development, implementation and maintenance of single product modules/sub-systems or on lower-level issues of multiple products.
    • Prepares technical documentation of product modules/sub-systems.
    • Conducts unit testing and integration testing for functionality and limits.
    • Assist with estimation and planning activities.
    • Participate in reviewing deliverables from other development teams, including designs, test plans, and documentation help identify and resolve gaps between requirements and technical design
  • Performs moderately complex bug verification, release testing and beta support for assigned products. Researches problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions to the problems.
  • Researches and understands the marketing requirements for a product, including target environment, performance criteria and competitive issues.
  • Researches new technology or development tools to remain informed of current technology.

Required skills:

  • Identifies problems, analyze complex issues and significantly improve, change or adapt existing methods and techniques.
  • Bachelor's degree or similar in software engineering or computer science.
  • Good technical knowledge in software development methodologies, design, programming and implementation.
  • Strong skills with the following:
    • C# .Net
  • multi-threading
  • Visual Studio
    • SQL: Microsoft SQL Server primary, Postgres secondary
  • Database design
  • Stored procedures
  • Database performance evaluation and improvement
  • Good analytical and design skills at multiple product level.
  • Good skills in research and analysis, project planning and implementation.
  • Good understanding of entire development process, including specification, documentation and quality assurance.
  • Aware of business issues as they impact overall project plans.
  • Good communications and interpersonal skills.
  • Advanced PC skills.
  • Helps to mentor less experienced employees in addition to fostering teamwork.

Preferred Qualifications:

 Experience with DevExpress

   Experience in the banking/finance industry, specifically in treasury management billing, a plus.

  Prioritize and work well in an environment with changing priorities.
