Associate Solution Architect

  • Work under the direction of a Solution Architect on customer projects and internal initiatives, with skills growth leading to independent performance of:
    • Conducting and leading business and technical design workshops around diverse customers’ complex global Supply Chain processes to create highly scalable, sustainable solutions following Infor Nexus best practices
    • Understanding and connecting customers’ existing business processes and technology to craft the “to be” Infor Nexus solution and developing a transition plan to create measurable business value
    • Ensuring customers’ business requirements are fully understood, documented, communicated, and acted upon
  • Be a leader on a team of technical and business analysts and engineers, foster a productive team environment, leverage diverse views to encourage innovation, and mentor team members to ensure their success and growth
  • Capture and share best practice knowledge among Infor Nexus PSO community
  • Work collaboratively with project team members and Infor Nexus Product & Support departments to ensure successful implementations
  • Assist with implementation efforts as directed on customer projects and internal initiatives, as follows:
        • Performing advanced Consulting tasks
        • Configuring and extending the Infor Nexus product to meet solution requirements
        • Creating functional and non-functional specifications
        • Training and guiding customers to promote user understanding and user adoption of the software
        • Ensuring a successful and seamless transition to our support organization


    • 4+ years working in Supply Chain-related
    • Good understanding of the supply chain management processes including order management, factory management, supply chain finance and logistics
    • Previous experience implementing software using a software development lifecycle (SDLC) implementation model
    • Strong familiarity with standard EDI and XML message formats
    • Working knowledge of SAP, Oracle, Infor LN/M3 and/or other ERP systems a plus
    • Experience working with Transportation Management Software
    • Bachelor’s degree in technical or business field, Master’s degree a plus
    • Possess a strong natural sense of curiosity, be self-motivated, self-disciplined and passionate about international business and commerce
    • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, products and technical challenges
    • Ability to effectively build relationships, promote collaborative and team environments, and influence others
    • Proven interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment
    • Ability to effectively troubleshoot application issues, analyze complex problems, and formulate alternative approaches
    • Ability to travel domestically/internationally up to 25% required
