Description & Requirements

Position Title: System Administrator, Associate
Location: BGC Taguig City, Philippines

A Day in the Life typically includes:
  • Requires coverage during standard operating hours as well an on-call support if needed.
  • Troubleshooting of IT Services incidents as requested thru the IT Ticketing Tool by internal employees and possible external users.
  • Analyze and test software, hardware and business applications functionalities and issues.
  • Analyze and repair of software, hardware and/or business applications incidents.
  • Provide quality answers and follow-up to customers in a timely manner.
  • Analyze root causes and research appropriate references (people/materials).
  • Use systems analysis techniques while working with customers to provide general or specific applications, systems or solutions to best meet business specifications and customer needs.
  • Deliver administrative duties such as reporting and tracking, event coordination, creating presentations, periodic research for project, procurement activities and invoicing.
  • Would be responsible for low-level issues, primarily focused on resolving issues reported through the IT ticketing system. This should free up the more senior staff for project work.
  • Would be aligned to the EMEA working hours.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Provides first-level end user support for break-fix issues or proactive requests generated through a ticketing system.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve basic solution issues.
  • Work with external vendors to resolve equipment and application problems.
  • Participates in projects and internal improvement initiatives as assigned.
  • Develop technical skills inside and outside of assigned core technologies.
  • Work to promote positive teamwork as part of a widely dispersed team and build relationships among colleagues and across departmental teams.
  • Understanding of virtual technologies
  • Understand the concepts of server, network, and storage virtualization

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or a related field.
  • Knowledge in Cloud Computing
  • Experience working in a global environment
