This position will be responsible for handling a team of System Administrators and Software Engineers and the overall continuous development of systems administration and infrastructure setup for the Data Migration Factory team, which handles migration of S3 customers from Lawson v10 to our Cloud ERP – FSM and HRT.  

 

Position Summary 
 

The job position will be involved in the overall maintenance and continuous improvement of system administration and infrastructure needs by the Data Migration Factory team and the career development of the software engineers in the team. 

 

A day in the life typically includes:

 

  • - Managing day-to-day operations of the Development team in areas of people and technical 

  • - Coordination/Leading of System Admin and Infrastructure needs. 

  • - Manage/Ensure the quality of the product or application delivered. 

  • - Coordination and managing areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications. 

  • - Determining operational practicality 

  • - Responsible for developing quality assurance procedures. 

  • - Managing deployment of software tools and development processes. 

  • - Implementation of Team and Company policies and procedures. 

 

What will you need:
 

  • - At least 2 years total experience and functioning as Team Lead

  • - Lead/Supervisor in software development or system administration. 

  • - Knowledgeable in Data Migration 

  • - Experienced in stakeholder management. 

  • - Can work closely with other developers, business, systems analysts, and (US) customers 

  • - Has a substantial understanding of the job and applies knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks. 

  • - Works on assignments that are moderately difficult, requiring judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations. 

  • - Normally receives little instruction on daily work, and general instructions on newly introduced assignments. 

  • -Must be amenable to work on a hybrid set-up
