Infor is seeking an experienced Technical Architect, Senior who will be responsible for providing a world-class experience via proactively maximizing adoption and value and building robust relationships with leadership and technical team members. The Architect will work collaboratively within the IMS Organization to develop and implement a cohesive approach to optimize Business Intelligence through system tools e.g. Service Now, Infor-Birst, Certinia, etc., and services. The successful candidate will excel serving as an ongoing trusted advisor by creating digital innovation and technical leadership to drive business goals.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

  • Ramp up efficiently to understand the organizational structure and technical environment, business model, and Business Intelligence goals to effectively use various tools and solutions to reach the desired business outcomes.
  • Proactively partner with customers and stakeholders to define and implement API solutions for integration between customer and Infor environment using best practices
  • Drive Infor engagement with system tools and services through collaboration to provide technical recommendations for creating optimal Business Intelligence and modernization programs.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Success, Technical Support, Operations, Engineering, Sales, and Product Management to provide a world-class solution to drive efficiency and optimization.
  • Build and provide expertise on system tools e.g. ServiceNow, Certinia, Infor-Birst etc., and advise on key features and functionality to make strategic recommendations.
  • Understand and exhibit domain expertise in data modelling, report and dashboard development, data integration, data transformation and Business Intelligence industry best practices.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience working with data warehousing software and/or SaaS solutions.
  • Experience working in product management and digital innovation and developing integration solutions using REST APIs.
  • Experience working with Business Intelligence tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, and MicroStrategy.
  • Experience working in SQL with RDBMS tools like SQL Server, Snowflake, Oracle, Teradata, MySQL, Postgres etc. 
  • Experience working with business process owners developing the analysis of information through utilization of reports, dashboards, and analytics.
  • Experience working with multiple data modeling approaches (e.g., star, snowflake schema designs), ETL and Data Integration tools like Informatica, Microsoft SSIS, Data Stage, Data Integrator, etc., and familiarity process automation using RPA, BPM tools etc.
  • Project or Product management experience working with Business Intelligence implementations from deployment through updates and deprecation using agile methodology.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in Operations management, Customer Service, or Account Technical Support role leading customer or internal accounts driving technical solutions
  • Experience in a technical consulting role such as product manager, technical account management or technical business analysis.
  • Experience with Infor specific applications or common ERP, CRM, and similar critical business applications commonly used as data sources for Business Intelligence.
  • Experience in Managed Services delivery models, system administration, configuration management, tuning of SQL Server or other relational databases, middleware management, administration of Snowflake, web application deployment, and systems architecture.
