As a Data Analyst in the Nexus Analytics team, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience working alongside leading professionals as we engage a diverse set of industries by delivering insightful solutions.
The role will require you to be a qualitative and quantitative analyst, while also being a product manager for an analytical software product line.
Who You'll Work With
You will play a pivotal role in driving the development, management, and delivery of our SaaS analytical product.
You will work with internal stakeholders, customers and their supply chain partners. You will collaborate closely with internal cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, services and customer success, to ensure our products deliver exceptional value to our customers.
The role requires engaging with prospective customers during the sales cycle to articulate the value proposition of the platform and maintaining engagement with existing customers to ensure the analytical solutions evolve with customer needs, and micro/macroeconomic conditions.
What You'll Do
You will become the supply chain analytics subject matter expert. As an analyst, you will be analyzing quantitative and qualitative supply chain data from our customer network to identify performance metrics and common root causes, recommend software solutions to the root causes, and develop analytical playbooks for addressing common analytical scenarios across the customer base.
As a product manager, you will be responsible for understanding customer analytical needs, defining product requirements, and guiding the product lifecycle through development and growth.
Product Marketing support:
- Prepare and present written and verbal materials such as reports, findings, proposals, training and release communications
- Assist sales efforts through engagement with existing customers and prospects
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success teams
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather market place insights, understand customer needs, and validate product concepts
- Serve as a product expert, and provide guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders
Supply Chain Analytics:
- Define and monitor the added value that Nexus provides to customers
- Define operational and strategic best practices based on empirical analysis
- Lead cross-team analytics through a systems-thinking approach.
- Provide Nexus management with supply chain network analysis, market analysis, and management reporting. Be available for ad hoc business analysis
- Disseminate analytical expertise by contributing to the analytical knowledge base

- University degree is required; MBA or master’s degree in supply chain optimization / operation research / industrial engineering (or any analytical field) is a plus

- Proven problem-solving skills with ability to quickly process complex information and present it clearly and simply
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel and PowerPoint) required;
- Advanced English language communication skills, across all levels, particularly in written communications
- Ability to multi-task and manage workload effectively under pressure
- Ability to strike a balance between being flexible enough to deal with a rapidly changing knowledge management environment and being firm about maintaining consistency where necessary
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership

Analytical Qualifications
- Proven experience of relevant analytical work experience
- Analytics in supply chain operations is a plus
- Intermediate proficiency in SQL
- Intermediate proficiency in statistics
- Proficient in at least one analytical tool (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, R, Python)
- Experience in evaluating business processes, problem domains, and identifying improvement areas to inform requirements
- Strong analytical skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making. Must think critically and have a systems approach to analysis in order to see root cause and the strategic impact
- Extensive experience in data cleansing
Product Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into product requirements
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Experience with wiki creation, Jira, roadmap software, flow diagram software, BPMN are a plus
