Position Summary

In the Business Solutions Delivery team, we believe in empowering all Inforians to make data-driven decisions by unifying the data journey from inception to insight. We do this by creating a unified operating platform, accelerating business process, deliver a superior user experience and enable a data driven culture.

This position plays a critical role in realizing this vision. We are looking for a business analyst to help streamlining the applications in the Order to Bill stack – this includes systems for order management, fulfillment, handling of key requests, provisioning requests and 3rd party purchase orders. The business analyst will be responsible for improvements of the existing systems and will be involved in several migration and implementation projects throughout the next years to build a modern ecosystem with a reduced number of applications. The business analyst will be involved in all project phases of the implementation and the ongoing maintenance, configuration and improvement of the systems after go live.

The business analyst will work closely with various stakeholders to understand the business processes and requirements, and work closely with the IT development and QA team to get functional changes/enhancements developed and configured, tested, and rolled-out to the end users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Building relationships with the customer community
  • Understanding key business processes and requirements, systems, priorities, and challenges
  • Analyzing and documenting business requirements for enhancements and configuration changes and modules/components of new applications
  • Identifying root cause of problems with applications and interfaces
  • Researching solution options in collaboration with Development and designing solutions for feature requests
  • Documenting test scenarios against the business requirements and conducting QA testing post development activities
  • Ensuring end user enablement/adoption for new applications or system changes through end user documentation and training and measuring adoption rates
  • Coordination with various IT groups throughout the software lifecycle to get system changes developed, tested, deployed, maintained and supported
  • Ability to work flexible hours for global coverage as necessary

Knowledge and Skills You Bring to the Organization

  • Business and systems analysis skills and know-how in use case modelling and documentation of functional specifications
  • Experience in test planning, test case documentation and testing
  • Experience in agile software development methodology
  • Experience in implementing and maintaining ERP systems or order management/fulfillment applications
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks with changing priorities and meet challenging deadlines in a fast-paced environment, leveraging your organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills in a global multicultural environment with the ability to interface with internal customers at various levels and build relationships virtually across multiple functional areas
  • Good written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Creative problem solver who takes ownership of their projects
