Position Summary


We are looking for a Senior SQL Server Database Administrator to help manage a non-prod enterprise fleet in the cloud.

Using existing automation tools, we will be building out a new cloud environment with a small team deploying approximately 38 SQL Clusters and assisting with data migrations.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

• SQL Server database administration and tuning
• Assist with other DBMS/OS management tasks.
• Windows O.S. management and tuning
• Disaster Recovery planning

What You Will Need:
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to learn new technology quickly 
• The ability to work in a team
• Strong project management skills
• Experience with larger databases
• A detailed understanding of SQL Server and M.S. Windows. This includes backups, recovery and tuning
• Shell scripting skills with Power Shell, Python, Bash, Perl or other scripting language
• Command line skills

What Will Put You Ahead?
Familiarity with SQL Always on Availability Groups
• Amazon Cloud Services experience
• SQL or Cloud Certifications
• AWS Aurora Postgres experience
