Description & Requirements
As the Delivery Executive for Infor's most complex projects, you will be responsible for the end-to-end success of large, global, highly complex projects, including co-development projects involving on-premise, hybrid and cloud delivery models. Engagement ownership is focused on successful delivery, customer retention and customer reference-ability.
A Day in The Life Typically Includes:
- Working with Sales, Architects, Services and others to set scope, staffing and organization aspects of a new engagement. 80% of this role is focused on delivery (this is a billable role) and 20% is focused on presales and deal structuring.
- Oversee the creation of the delivery solution, scope and SOW. You will own the integrated project plan and responsibility for the oversight and execution. You will build relationships with existing customers to ensure that they are engaged and getting the most value from our services. You frequently engage and partner with C- Level executives and conduct customer meetings--understand customer direction, anticipate and resolve issues, become the trusted advisor to the customer on engagement direction and management.
- Provide oversight and guidance for all delivery teams to ensure customer satisfaction. You will also provide oversight to Project Manager who is day-to-day manager of the project. In this role, you will work with, coach and mentor Project Manager (s).
- Perform ongoing analysis and review of engagement(s) and one on ones with key internal and external stakeholders to assess engagement and team health and then work with rest of PM team to make any needed changes/improvements escalations/review.
- Manage critical issues/risks (discuss and address with Infor team and customer) and be the primary leader in escalation mitigations and recoveries relationship management.
- Proactive communication with Infor, Partner, and Customer executives. Review status reports and provide feedback with project management team on a periodic cadence.
- Participate in meetings such as: team project management meetings, customer meetings as appropriate, steering committee and other customer executive meetings, risk/issue meetings as well as internal executive status meetings. Identify and formulate new opportunities with customer.
Basic Qualifications:
- Industry expertise in the Food and Beverage, Process, Fashion and Retail Industries
- Experienced in Agile methodologies, such as Sprint Planning, Scrum Management, Epic/Feature work break-downs, Story-Pointing, Velocity Tracking, Burn-downs/Burn-ups, etc.
- Progressive professional services experience for an enterprise software company, ideally a cloud applications business or a systems integration consultancy firm.
- Track record of managing and successfully delivering professional service engagements, programs and projects involving complex solution sets (i.e. 7-8 solutions), on-premise, cloud and hybrid.
- Track record of selling consulting services and adding value in the sales process.
- Proven ability to manage successful global custom and/or co-development projects and ability to simultaneously manage multiple functions, projects, priorities and time pressure.
- P&L experience related to programs and projects.
