As a motivated and detail-oriented DevOps Engineer you will be developing and automating cloud software in AWS. You will work with compelling AWS technology and open-source tools.  You will help define Infor's next-generation CI/CD pipeline while working with key stakeholders throughout the enterprise to help us deliver multi-tenant applications to customers in the cloud. You will work with a supportive team in a fast-paced environment to support Infor’s competitive cloud-based software.

A Day in The Life Typically Includes:

• Implement code and automation for cloud-based applications and microservices, both front and back end, you will collaborate with other developers and departments to ensure high quality software and timely delivery.  Includes participating in agile standups and performing code review.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for new and existing systems and procedures while enhancing existing systems based on user feedback.
• Optimize performance and scalability as necessary to meet the business goals of application and environment.
• Collaborate and communicate to achieve common goals, this involves facilitating communication, resolving conflicts, and ensuring that everyone is on the same page.
• Continuous integration testing, and deployment of code changes, create and manage continuous integration pipelines, guaranteeing frequent and comprehensive code testing as well as the timely and reliable release of new features and updates. 
• Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions, track key metrics, collect logs, and use this data to identify issues, troubleshoot problems, and optimize system performance.  Perform automated unit and system testing per quality assurance requirements.  Operational On-Call responsibilities.
• Integrate security practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle, responding to security incidents and vulnerabilities as well as putting security measures into place in processes, infrastructure, and code.

Basic Qualifications:

• English language skills with experience working with global team members.
• Software development/operations experience.
• Python, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipeline, Microsoft Windows, Gitlab experience.
• Experience working with SaaS, Cloud, Hosting technologies and processes. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with multiple back-end languages (e.g., C#, Java, C++) and front-end frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, Angular, React, Node.js, bootstrap, HTML, XSLT, CSS), as well as serverless architecture.
• Experience with databases (e.g., Postgres, MySQL, SQL), web servers (e.g., Apache, Tomcat), UI/UX design and other common development stacks.
• Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Developer.
• Experience with AWS services, including ECS or EKS, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, and CloudFormation type technologies.
• Experience establishing cloud security best practices as applied to identity and access management, monitoring, logging, networking, secure communication and storage.
